This is just a quick reminder about monday night's movie, its 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert' and will be shown around 7.15 in the evening.

The location is the meditation room, find the main building, go up to the second floor, go into A block, take the first left, continue down the corridor, through the set of double doors. To your left you should see a set of stairs going up, to your right toilets…

Turn to your left and go up the stairs, the meditation room is at the top, it has a rainbow flag on the door.

Come and join us wether you have seen the movie or not.

hey folks, enjoyed the chat and meeting last night, sorry if a little stressed, i've calmed down now *grins*. I'll be attending the last clubs and socs meeting in D1050 this evening at 6. Okay so, the updates…

NEXT MEETING:
The next meeting is actually a movie night, being held in the meditation room, block A (for directions just e-mail us). The movie will be priscilla queen of the desert (I can't believe people haven't seen this movie yet). Popcorn and soda supplied (I promise not to forget). Oh…its on at 7.15…

BOWLING:
Thursday night, meet at 7.30 the stables, we'll sort out transport then.

GAY CLARE NIGHT:
sat night this weekend coming, one mile inn, ennis/lahinch road, 5euro in.

LIMERICK PRIDE:
We've had word from vanessa that this will be going ahead in september, if you want to be a part of this, you will need to stay in contact with the soc, either through bebo or the forum. It would be nice if we could make a showing, and even some sort of banner for it. Those staying in limerick for the summer, let us know and we'll get ye involved.

EUROVISION NIGHT:
We're looking at a pub enviornment or someones large house for this…any suggestions welcome. It should be a great laugh.

BEBO PAGE:
The OUT in UL bebo page is going to stay confidental, as we agreed when we set it up (a vote was taken last night and all agreed) if you want to join it, as to be added (in other words, use this link , click add as member, and wait till they add you, should be only a day or two) if there are issues with being added, e-mail us here and let us know. If you can't find the page, e-mail us here and let us know. We'll be only tooo glad to help.

HEAVEN.SKYNET WEBPAGE:
People we do have a forum on this site, when you log on, you will see it to the right of your screen, just click on any of the messages that are there and you will see above them to the left little buttons that will lead you into the main board. PLEASE USE THIS!!! it will be handy espcially over the coming summer months to find out what's going on in limerick…

HANDOVER BOOK:
Okay this is almost complete, there are four outstanding peices missing, derrick will have his to me by weekend, paddy hasn't comented yet, john's working on it as I hope is alan, I need these so I can finish it all up and wipe my hands clean of it for this year. The book is very comprehensive and detailed so should explain all you need to know and offer you the new committee some encouragement over the coming year.

FRESHERS BOOKLET:
A new version of this has been almost completed (must remember to change size of font on back page). If you want to see it and coment on it, be at the mediation room on monday night.

BUDGET:
The sorting out of the budget is underway. We are a few recipts shy, but should have them by the end of the week.

AUCTION DINNERS:
contact john, tell him when you are available, and we'll sort it out on thurs.

PHOTO SHOOT:
For the past committee…please show up at 2.00 thurs afternoon outside the students union, this photo is for the slide show being constructed.

The New committee will be expected to make an appearence then as well, for the same reason.

HANDING OVER THE CHEAQUES:
Should be done this week, or early next week. Times have to be arranged. Photo op and article will be nesscary.

BOWLING:
All right so, we have had a few (read three) people respond to bowling this week, in the most part we've gotten two who don't mind, one for thurs, and one for wed only (who didn't respond yet but said at the meeting)…if ye want to go this week, respond today, before 11pm tonight. If not leave it be and we'll plan it for next week.

HANDBOOK:
I'm still looking for the stuff from past presidents, our sec, our tres, our pro, and our present vice pres…by tomorrow people…bullet points are okay other wise, one page please.

MOVIE NIGHT:
There does seem to be some intrest in this, so we may do it week after next, to which we promise to bring pop corn, maltessers and soda pop (its the yank in me).

BEBO PAGE:
to the administrators of this page, some people are finding it hard to locate and to log on, even after approval, if you wouldn't mind looking into it. Thanks.

EUROVISION NIGHT:

FRESHERS GUIDE:
Actually this is in the works…(lets just say i'd nothing better to do and am avoiding cleaning the bathroom), it will be available on monday for your opinions. It's not set in stone, so it can be changed, re formated and stuff removed or added to it.

Next meeting is on monday night 23rd of April 2007 in the meditation room. At this meeting we will hopefully be linking up with the garda liasion officer and seeing if ger has finally gotten his other half to agree to our eurovision night *big smile*

I would like to thank everyone that took part in creating such a fantastic event last night (i'm still knackered and me feet are killing me). You all did so well, so cudos to those who helped in the planning, the putting together of shag packs, the blanketing of ul with posters, the volunteering of bodies for the auction, the donation of alchohol and food for the raffle, the decorating of riddlers, and going around getting people to buy tickets.

you are a wonderful bunch of people, thank you for putting up with a very stressed out pres and sec.

We paid everyone last night, we made back the float and we managed to make a few quid for ourselves. Never mind the few hundred we managed to make for red ribbion and rainbow house.

lads and lassies, thank you once more from the bottom of me heart. love ye all and see ye monday night.

Hey there gang,

well we've had a busy two weeks, the ball down in cork was fantastic and the three of us that went had a blast. We can't wait until they do the next one.

We've also been to the clubs and soc's ball out at the raddison last night and had a fantastic time. I'd like to say here and now, congrats to paddy for winning best person award, you deserve it with all the work you have put into clubs and socs down through the years, three cheers!!

I'd also like to say that ye all looked very well and I'd a blast sitting laughing and chatting outside as well as up dancing on the dancefloor (I promise to be more energentic at queerbash). We made quite a showing at this years ball, even as usual we were spread all around the place, the group photo proves testement to this as well as the one or three people who enquired about the soc and remarked how much fun we seemed to be having.

OUR NEXT MEETING:
this is a rather impromptu meeting, more of a tying up of loose ends, and will take place in room 3 room 2 of the students union on wedensday, we'll be sorting out the final details and talking about decorating the place as well as a last push on the queerbash posters. After that people it is the main event itself, so don't forget, tell your freinds, invite everyone for a great party night.

AGM:

to be held after queerbash, postions to be taken: president, vice president, sec, tres, pro. We'll just be relaxing and shooting the breeze.

Again, thanks to all who have taken part in all the events, we've loved providing them for ye.
