The morning after

Hey gang,

To all of you that showed up last night, cheers, wasn't it great to be in a venue that was comfertable for a change???

Word has it that BAR 3 is going to be the new venue in town for the gay scene and run every night and over weekends. Termites the alternative/indy place should be opening up down stairs in about 5 - 6 weeks.

It was a great night and drew quite a crowd which was nice to see, shows us that there is actually a 'community' of sorts here in limerick.

So I hope ye all got home safe and sound, and that the hangovers weren't tooo bad this a.m. For those of you with lectures and seminars this a.m, I hope ye made it and were able to function.

There will be no meeting of OUT in UL on monday as its a bank holiday!!! Keep an eye on your e-mail accounts, the website and the notice boards to find out when the next one is.

We have already four people who want to try and get to PINK TRAINING in duba from the 17th to the 19th of november. I will be applying to speacial apps for help in sending the four, if anyone else needs info, then contact the e-mail account and I'll send you on the relevant info. We'd also like to organise a quiz night in order to help send these people to it.

oh ya,

Anyone intrested in another night out, we're heading to wicked chicken on sat night with some of the soc, if ye want to come along, feel free. I'm reckoning around 9 ish, if you don't know where it is, why not meet me out side brown thomas around 8.30 / 9.00 and we can walk up.

so until then…

have a brill weekend.

Next Meeting!

Hello there,

Well first off I'd like to say thanks to all the OUT in UL members (and their plus's) for  going along to Cork Wedensday night. I think we can all agree that a fantastic time was had by all.

While ye may not think it, it wouldn't have been as much fun if ye hadn't have shown up. Loafers as usual was a great starting point, and meeting UCC soc members there was great fun. Freakscene as always was amazing and the music was perfect.

As per yer requests we will try to organise another inter - soc meeting before the end of this semester. We'll discuss that at the upcoming meetings, speaking of which the next meeting is Monday evening at 7 in the Students Union. Room 3 as always. I really look forward to seeing you all and hope you will show up for this.

So until monday night, have a great weekend, and again, thanks.

Gina - Your Pres.
