Well, we're all knackered, some of us from work, some of us from study. The meeting didn't quite go as planned but we have re - iterated a few things…
Firstly, the subjects we are planning on hosting at the conference are as follows:
a. Media
b. Education/Religion/sexuality and religion
c. Sports
d. Mental Health.
John will be forwarding on the letters that we need to send to those who are leading the talks, and those presenting as soon as he has a moment to himself.
We are thinking of hosting the event at the Milstream on campus (as it has a few conference rooms).
We may be working in tandum with another organisation, which will be confirmed next week or the week after.
We will be organising a website around the conference.
Now, if you have anything to add, or questions around these, please don't hesitate to contact us at either outinul@yahoo.ie or via the forum on the website.
There will be a meeting in two weeks to thrash a lot of this out, that meeting will be held on a tuesday at 7.00 p.m. to accomadate those who are working and may like to eat before coming along. Same venue as this evening.
So, that's the next meeting at 7.00 p.m. Tuesday 20th of June at the Stables. Bring your thinking caps and any thoughts, queries or updates to this meeting, or e-mail or use the forum.
Gina - Pres.
