New Committee 2010 - 2011
At the AGM held recently the following officers were elected for the coming year:

The incoming committee would like to congratulate the outgoing committee on a very successful year. Special mention for Dan Comerford, last years President, for his tiredless work throughout the Year and also Congrats to Dan Comerford on his election as SU Post Grad President for the coming year. We wish all our committee, former committee and members, past and present all the success in the coming year.

As well as having the AGM on Monday, it will also be Out in UL’s last meeting of the year. We will be having a few drinks after and everyone is more than welcome to come along 
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have helped out Mike and I over the past year, especially Dan, Tighearnan, Denise, Breandan, Joe, Louise, Ger Hanley, for his help and support to all our members, and everyone else who has helped us out. I would also like to thank all of you for a great year, Out in UL’s most successful to date, which we could not have achieved without all of your help and support.

MYLGBT- Table Quiz April 17th, Riddlers, Sarsfield St., Limerick
Table Quiz on Friday April 17th 7.30-9pm
Riddlers - Sarsfield St., Limerick.
€20 per table of 4 people.
All people of all ages are welcome! If you don’t have a group of 4 please come along anyway and we’ll set up extra teams.
A Raffle will be held at the event with lots of prizes available!
All proceeds from the event will go towards MY LGBT youth group.
MY LGBT are a project of Rainbow Support Services and support the young Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community (13-25yrs).

As the AGM is scheduled for bank holiday Monday I am re-scheduling it for Monday 20th @ 7pm in Room 3 of the Students Union.
Each candidate will have one minute to give a small speech on what they want to do in the coming academic year for Out in UL.

The launch of some LGBT related research is today at 5:30 in the Millstream. The research is important to the development of LGBT in Ireland so please come along.

Hi Everyone,
The meeting tomorrow will be tomorrow Mon 23rd at 7pm in C & S office.
The meeting will be followed by a Coming Out workshop by Ger Hanley (Our LGBT Liason Officer). I would advise all of our membres to attend, especially those of you who have not come out and want to or feel uncomfotable or confused about the idea. The workshop will be totally confidential. meeting and mock wedding
Hey guys,
Meeting this week is on Tues 3 Feb, at 7 in C & S office.
Also, we are having a mock gay wedding followed by a debate on Wed. 4 Feb at 1pm in Student Union Courtyard for Equality week. The weddings will take place in the courtyard and if you, yourself would like to be one of those married off or a guest get back to me asap

Meeting, 23rd Feb
Hi everyone,
Ok, this weeks meeting is Monday the 23rd Feb in the C & S office at 7:30pm. For the new members to the mailing list that do not know where that is, it is up the stairs of the Students Union and your first door in on the right.
We will be giving a run down of Sparkle’s and Brighton mostly.
Also for those of you who booked tickets for AMI (Alternative Miss Ireland) they have arrived. As soon as you give me the money for the tickets you can collect them. Call or text me.
